G. A. R. OFFICES ARE INSTALLED FOR THE YEAR
Only Two Members, Both Present At Meeting

At a regular meeting of Nathaniel Lyon Post, G. A. R., held yesterday, the officers of the post were installed for the year by Charles M. Leavens, past commander of E. P. Morton Camp Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, assisted by Thomas P. Kelly, commander of the Sons of Veterans, as officer of the day.

After the installation, refreshments of cake, ice cream, coffee and pop corn were served by Mrs. Charles M. Leavens and Miss Carrie Wakefield, assisted by several members of the Sons of Veterans, Miss Carrie Day, Mrs. Elizabeth Joslin of the Woman’s Relief Corps.

The post has only two members, and both were present and insist they will hold their charter until the last man is gone.

Elias B. Wakefield was installed as commander and quartermaster, and Christian Holley, adjutant and officer of the day.
